This concession stand proposal for the LA 2028 Olympics is designed as a rest point that provides food service and restroom access while supporting a range of programmatic needs. The design explores the relationship between dimension, material, and structure to create a strong interior and exterior visual experience. With exposed wood framing, a punctured outer shell, and two primary volumes breaking through, it reads as a landmark. Built from wood, the structure is intended to be flexible after the Olympics; as the material qualities and scale make the structure easily repurposed or kept intact.
